Consular Legalization by Vietnamese Consular Office
Consular Legalization is the process required to legalize all documents which are notarized by which the Secretary of the State shall authenticate the commission of the Notary Public Officer of the State. Those documents shall be legally recognized in Vietnam after Vietnamese Consular Office in foreign country verify and authenticate the notarization.
1. Required Documents
Copy/photo of the documents required for consular legalization.
Documents that have been notarized in the United States and certified by the local County Office and the Secretary of State of the State
Copy/photo of proof of legal residence in the U.S. (e.g., Green Card, driver license, U.S. passport, etc.).

3. Important Notes
Processing time starts once we receive the complete application and it is accepted by the Consulate General.
