Welcome to Dong Hoi airport. Meet outside our English-speaking tour guide and driver. Transfer to Quang Binh.
Enjoy your time to explore Phong Nha cave: from which the name to the whole system and the park is derived, is famous for its rock formations which have been given names such as the “Lion”, the “Fairy Caves”, the “Royal Court”, and the “Buddha”. This cave is 7,729-meter-long, contains 14 grottos, with a 13,969-meter-long underground river.
The scientists have surveyed 44.5 kilometers of grottos in this cave so far, but tourists can only penetrate to a distance of 1500 meters. The main Phong Nha cave includes 14 chambers, connected by an underwater river that runs for 1.5 kilometers. Secondary corridors branch off in all directions. The Outer Cave and some of the Inner Caves have roofs that tower between 25 and 40 meters above the water level.
From the 14th chamber there may be other corridors leading to similarly large chambers, but this area proves more dangerous for explorers because of the ongoing erosion of the limestone of the cavern. The Shallow Cave is located 800 meters from the cave mouth, where there is a spectacular landscape of sand and rock. Stalactites and stalagmites jut out like strange trees, exciting visitors’ imaginations.
Stay overnight in Quang Binh.

Transfer to visit Thien Duong (Heaven) cave, Vietnam’s longest cave which is filled with magical and mysterious formations. The cave was discovered in 2005 by a British Cave Research Association. The cave is in the heart of a limestone mountain range and runs through the Phong Nha-Ke Bang conservation area. Inside the cave, visitors can see stunning stalagmites and stalactites which are thousands of years of existence. Unlike Phong Nha cave, which also belongs to the Phong Nha – Ke Bang complex, the atmosphere in Thien Duong is always cool and moist with an average temperature of 20-21°C. Sitting in front of the cave you can feel a cold blast of air, a pleasing respite from the 30-35°C heat outside. At the beginning of the cave, there is a huge arch which is said to symbolize the Mountain Genie who will defend the prevailing peace inside.
Visit Hien Luong bridge & Ben Hai river (the 17th Parallel). From 1945 to 1975, the Ben Hai River served as the demarcation line between North and South of Vietnam. The Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) consisted of a 5-km-wide buffer zone extending north and south of the demarcation line. The Vietnamese Demilitarized Zone was established as a dividing line between North and South Vietnam as a result of the First Indochina War. During the Second Indochina War (popularly known as the Vietnam War), it became important as the battleground demarcation separating North Vietnamese territory from South Vietnamese territory.
The next stop is Vinh Moc Tunnels – the famous “Underground city”. The route is scenic after leaving the main highway passing through quaint villages and skirting along Cua Tung Beach. The Vinh Moc village story is a feat of humanity and resistance. In order to escape heavy bombardment during the war, the villagers constructed approximately 2.8 km of underground tunnels which they used as a refuge to survive the bombings. Three hundred people lived intermittently in the tunnels from 1966 to 1971. Explore the tunnels and enjoy the beautiful sea view upon exit.
Arrive Hue in the late afternoon. Check in hotel.

Visit Hue National School which was founded in order to train those who would serve the feudal colonial government, so in the study curricula French was the main subject.
Then enjoy a visit to the two tombs of the Kings of Nguyen Dynasty. Each tomb has a specific style and architecture.
King Tu Duc’s tomb is located in a narrow valley in Duong Xuan Thuong village (currently Thuong Ba village, Thuy Xuan Commune, Hue City). It is one of the most beautiful works of royal architecture of the Nguyen dynasty.
The tomb of King Khai Dinh is located in Chau Chu mountain near Hue in Vietnam. It was built from 1920 to 1931 taking 11 years to complete. In comparison with those of the preceding emperors, Khai Dinh’s tomb is much smaller in surface but it is very elaborate. It is the result of the intermingling of many architectural trends: European and Asian, as well as ancient and modern.
Continue to An Hien Garden House: A short flight steps leads through a large gateway, richly decorated with symbols and designs. From there, a path leads through the garden to a wind-screen, a white painted brick wall designed to prevent both harsh wind and deny curious eyes a view of the house from the gate. The house is an excellent example of traditional Vietnamese architecture.

Enjoy a private boat trip along the Perfume River in Hue, you’ll deeply immerse in Hue’s pure nature & famous cultural places. The boat will take you to Thien Mu pagoda, an ancient pagoda in Hue city, can’t be missed while being in Hue. The pagoda has seven storeys and is the tallest one in Vietnam. The temple is often the subject of folk rhymes about Hue, such is its iconic status and association with the city.
