Visa Exemption (5 years) for Vietnamese who live overseas and for  foreigners who are spouses or children of Vietnamese citizens. Stars Vacation also assists to apply for 5-year Visa Exemption visa for Vietnamese who temporarily reside or work in the US with other foreign passports that require visas to enter Vietnam. This 5-year Visa Exemption visa is valid for 05 years or less depending on the validity of the passport or Permanent Resident Card.

1. Required documents

• Copy or photo of US passport or other foreign passport and other countries or Permanent Resident Card valid for more than 6 months.
• 1 passport photo with dimension 4 x 6cm or 2 x 2in (white background, face looking straight, bare head, clear face, clear ears).
• Copy or photo of a document confirming the relationship with Vietnamese born person (such as a marriage certificate, birth certificate) with foreigners.
• Other documents (if necessary)..
• Contact information (address, phone number, email, full name of the person receiving the application…).

2. Fees and processing time

• The above are the procedures and the guidelines to apply for entry visa according to the consular regulations of the Embassy / Consulate. Based on each application or case during the visa review process, the Embassy/Consulate has the right to request additional documents from applicant if deemed necessary.
• The processing time for visa may take longer time due to national holidays or when additional documents are required.
