This type of Power of Attorney applies to the authorization for personal, family, or business matters that are related to property or real estate or inheritance in Vietnam. It is a legally recognized procedure between the Grantor and the Authorized Person, as defined by Vietnamese law.

1. Required Documents

From the Grantor (Person giving authorization):

• Documents related to the real estate, property transaction and specific details of the authorization, including compensation (if applicable).
• Documents and authorization contracts are prepared by family members or lawyers in Vietnam which shall be accepted by the authorities or courts.
• Certificate of property ownership (red book, pink book, or sales contract).
• Copy/photo of proof of legal residence in the U.S. (U.S. passport, Green Card, Driver License, Identification Card).

From the Authorized Person (Person receiving authorization):

• Vietnamese national ID card or Vietnamese passport.
• Contact information (address, phone number, email, full name of the person receiving the documents).
