Reissuance of Lost or Damaged Vietnamese Passports in the United States

Stars Vacation provides services to reissue new Vietnamese passport for Vietnamese citizens whose passports are lost or damaged while abroad.  A replacement can be issued by the Vietnamese Embassy / Consulate in foreign country.

1. Required Documents

• A 4cm x 6cm or 2 x2in passport photo (white background, front-facing, bare head, clear face and ears, no glasses).
• A copy/photo of the most recently issued Vietnamese passport that was lost or damaged.
• A copy/photo of documents proving Vietnamese nationality (e.g. birth certificate, old national ID card, or any document showing Vietnamese citizenship).
• A copy/photo of documents proving legal residence in the United State (driver license)
• Contact information (address, phone number, email, full name of the person receiving the documents).

• Processing time starts once we receive the complete application and it is accepted by the Consulate General.
• In some cases, processing may take longer time depending on the actual circumstances.
• The processing time for visa may take longer time due to national holidays or when additional documents are required.
